This painting began as just the three meteorites hurtling towards the landscape last summer. (Originally titled  "My Three Tumors")  Decided that was too bleak, so I traced my shadow  holding my cell phone, on tissue paper; printed it with my grandmother's lace and collaged it on. It has a surrealistic quality that matched the actual experience, that I like.
